BRAC is a global development organization, unrivaled in its ability to deliver anti-poverty solutions at scale. Since 2016, BRAC has been implementing an evidence-based, playful learning intervention for young children during the critical early years of brain development called the Play Lab project. What is a Play Lab? The Play Lab is a community-based, early childhood education center that employs a high quality, low-cost play-based learning approach for children aged 3 - 5 in low resource settings. BRACs Executive Director, Dr. Muhammed Musa and BRAC USAs Education Director, Devon McLorg, will co-present on effective approaches to early childhood development in the context of a larger strategy for poverty eradication. They will also highlight gaps in the research to advance gains in learning outcomes for young children.
