Ayesha Chundrigar, Karishma Ali, and Bharti Singh Chauhan are three social workers who for the past several years have focused on animal rights, gender and poverty issues in India and Pakistan.

Ayesha Chundrigar, Karishma Ali, and Bharti Singh Chauhan are also the top three finalists in Tell Her Story, a contest designed to showcase remarkable women in and from South Asia who fight against social injustice. On Wednesday, January 29 they will be participating in the Tell Her Story Gala 2020 where the contest winner will be selected. Details of the event HERE
Speaker Bios
Ayesha Chundrigar is the Founder and CEO of ACF Animal Rescue, the first-of-its-kind animal shelter in Pakistan, based in Karachi for injured and ill stray animals such as dogs, cats and kites and working animals such as donkeys, horses and camels. Karishma Ali, founded the Chitral Women's Sports Club, the first women's sports club in Chitral. The club, which opened in 2018, has 60 female members who are being trained for football and other sports. Read Karishma Ali's story Smashing Patriarchy with Balls'.
Bharti Singh Chauhan, Founder of PraveenLata Sansthan, an organization that helps alleviate poverty by facilitating empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalized communities.
