Bio/CV:
He Yang is a second-year PhD student at the Institute for International and Area Studies, Tsinghua University, specializing in Modern Hindi Literature. His PhD thesis focuses on the evolution of the "Ramrajya" concept, from Gandhi's ideal to its contemporary interpretations. He is also working on a project that explores the spatial politics of Indian nationalism. He earned his B.A. in Foreign Languages and Foreign History in 2020 and his M.A. in Indian Language and Literature in 2023, both from Peking University.
