Bio/CV:
Anirban Gupta-Nigam is a research administrator trained at the intersections of the social and human sciences, primarily in Delhi and California. After receiving his PhD in Visual Studies from UC Irvine, he developed and managed a range of national and international programs for the system-wide UC Humanities Research Institute. Prior to joining UC Berkeley, he was the Associate Director of the Center for the Humanities and the Public Sphere at the University of Florida. His writing has appeared in venues like Theory, Culture & Society, BioScope: South Asian Screen Studies, and Theory & Event.
