[VIRTUAL] Dismantling Global Hindutva

   10,
   Zoom (Off Campus)

As a nonpartisan research institution devoted to the study of South Asia and its diasporas, UC Berkeley’s Institute for South Asia Studies has joined with numerous peer universities to co-sponsor the Dismantling Global Hindutva conference.

The focus of the conference is the political philosophy of Hindutva, which is distinct from the religious practices of Hinduism. The Institute remains dedicated to our public mission of upholding and preserving the principles of academic freedom and scholarly inquiry. Given our commitment to the freedom of inquiry and research, freedom of teaching, and freedom of expression and publication, views and opinions expressed by speakers participating in talks and conferences organized or co-sponsored by the Institute for South Asia Studies do not reflect the official policy or position of either the ISAS or the University of California, Berkeley.
