A talk by Prof. Chander Shekhar, Professor of Persian at the University of Delhi. Prof. Shekhar teaches in the Department of Persian at the University of Delhi. For a number of years he was the Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Indian Culture in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is the author of numerous books and articles on Indo-Persian literature and codicology. He has edited many Persian texts on poetry, history, and the book arts.
